This might sound silly. But it’s exactly how my brains works. And I’m going to try and explain myself as well as I can.
Food is my comfort zone. I eat when I’m sad. I eat when I’m angry I eat when I’m happy. I’m not the best at cooking. But I do try my best. I did get blessed with wonderful people who reply to me within seconds when I ask for recipes because looking for recipes online makes me anxious and confused about which one to choose and follow.
My most comfort food which reminds me of home is rice and dal. Nothing super fancy. Just the two. I have eaten it all my life. And recently I was able to remake the one I used to have as a child at home for someone close. Making the dal made me realise how I haven’t used tumeric in ages. Living in London really changes your use of tumeric haha? But it was the tumeric for me. And I could see and taste yellow.
That’s the only thought I had. Yellow. Food. Home.
And tadaa!
I am still having some trouble giving her a name. You’re more than welcome to suggest!
One brain tab closed. Many more to go ✨✨✨
