Colours

Some Colours is a canvas painting I made during a time when everything felt a little dark.

I’ve never really used many colours in my work, but this time I pushed myself to use every colour in my set. Why limit myself to just one? Maybe it’s an artistic metaphor, but using all those colours became my way of saying I’m trying, trying everything, every option I have, just to feel a little better. At least I tried.

I still mostly wear black. I think I always will. But somewhere inside, I’m starting to feel a bit more colourful.

Not completely… but I’m getting there.
